Frances William Abrams, the founder of Abrams’ Old Fashion All-Purpose Barbecue Sauce, grew up in the small agriculture town of Waynesboro, in Burke County, Georgia.  She married Lucious Abrams, a farmer, and was blessed with 12 children, 7 girls and 5 boys, who grew up in the farming industry. Over the years, she developed this wonderful sauce and it has been a family jewel since 1947.  Little did she know that someday her delicious sauce would be so well-known and in demand by many people across the country.

To the Abrams family, good taste truly does matter and, as a result, Abrams’ Old Fashion Barbecue Sauce is a sauce that everyone loves.  Many families, friends, social groups and other organizations who had enjoyed the Abrams’ catering and barbecue in particular, gave rave reviews about the sauce’s taste and it became very well known throughout the community.  The Abrams’ have set great standards in making barbecue sauce and this is one of the reasons that so many people have chosen Abrams’.  This all-purpose sauce is delicious on barbecue pork, beef, chicken, and fish.  It can also be used in spaghetti sauce, on pizza, hot and cold sandwiches and more!
